David Mok, Head of Investment and Research of IPP Financial Advisers
David Mok, CFA comes with an interesting breadth of experience of the buy side, sell side and distribution. Currently, he heads the investment and research at IPP Financial Advisers where he manages various portfolio strategies for different risk profiles including advising on a fund of funds and managing segregated funds. IPP Financial Advisers distributes mutual funds and insurance products and its assets under advisory is currently over US$1 billion.
Prior to IPPFA, David led the Trading and Principal Investment unit at CIMB-GK Securities. David also used to head the Singapore Equity Research at DBS Vickers Securities, where he helped to elevate DBSV Research to the No. 2 position in Singapore. Prior to DBSV, David was part of the investment team that managed over US$1bn of assets at Asia Life Assurance, a life insurance company that never failed to declare bonuses every year since inception.
David has been interviewed by The Business Times, The Straits Times, Channel 5, FM 93.8, Asia Wall Street Journal and a host of other news media.
David globetrotted Asia, Europe and the U.S. to provide institutional investors with investment perspectives on Asia and in particular, Singapore stocks. David is a CFA charter holder and an MBA graduate of Smith Business School, University of Maryland.
