Jeffery Tie currently focuses on both trading and conducting Technical Analysis courses and workshops with SGX Academy and the Financial Training Institute @ Singapore Management University. Mr Tie’s stock market career began in 1977 with JM Sassoon. During his time in stock broking, he witnessed many cycles of boom and bust, including the 1987 meltdown in worldwide equity markets. In 1997, Mr Tie joined Refco Singapore. During this time he developed new expertise in International Futures Markets and FX. Mr Tie’s experience and training during his time at both stock broking and futures broking enhanced his understanding of technical analysis and trading. Besides Singapore, he has also spoken to International audiences in Jakarta, Mumbai and Sri Lanka.
SkillsFuture Credit
With effect from January 2016, Singaporeans aged 25 years and above who received their SkillsFuture Credit account activation letter will be eligible for an initial credit of $500 which can be used to pay for course fees for a range of eligible courses. SkillsFuture credits can be used for this course.

IBF-STS Funding
The IBF Standards Training Scheme (“IBF-STS”) provides funding for training and assessment programmes accredited under the IBF Standards. IBF-STS provides 70% funding for direct training costs subject to cap of S$7,000 per participant per programme. For all IBF-STS programmes commencing on or after 1 July 2016, Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above will be eligible for 90% co-funding of direct training costs, subject to existing grant caps of S$7,000 per programme. Singapore Permanent Residents will continue to be eligible for 70% co-funding of direct training costs for IBF-STS programmes. For more information, please refer to IBF website

Changes
Singapore Exchange reserves the right to make changes to the time, date, syllabus, speakers, venue or cancel the course if warranted by circumstances beyond its control.
Cancellation and Transfer Policy
Cancellation for a registration must be made in writing at least 10 business days before the event and a refund (less a 10% administrative fee of total course fee) will be made. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 10 business days prior to the event. All requests for replacement must be made in writing at least 3 business days prior to the event.
SGX reserves the right to make changes to the date, time and/or other information regarding the course if warranted by circumstanced beyond its control.

A confirmation note will be sent via email 10 business days before the seminar/course commences.
The minimum class size for the programme is 10 confirmed registration and SGX Academy may, as its discretion, start a class without the minimum required number.
